Experience a softer, smoother ride with the Mizuno Wave Rider 22. A departure from some of the firmest shoes on the market, the Wave Rider 22 was designed with a full-length engineered mesh upper. This provided a more adaptable fit and increased breathability. The midsole consists of U4ic and U4icX cushioning material. U4icX is used in the heel under the plate for softer impact, while the firmer U4ic is used throughout the rest of the midsole for its light weight and durability. Mizuno's Wave Plate extends heel-to-midfoot to absorb impact and deliver some extra spring.
