Ann Arbor Running Company has a variety of resources for endurance athletes looking for personalized coaching. Nicholas Stanko, Eliana LinKaylin & Alex Russeau, and Coach Gina specialize in helping runners, triathletes, and cyclists reach their true potential as athletes.

Nicholas Stanko

Nicholas Stanko - Over the years Nicholas has worked with all levels of endurance athletes to help them reach their goals. Nicholas has been an endurance athlete since the mid-90s when he competed in cross-country, track & field, and swimming at Wyandotte Roosevelt High School (Wyandotte, MI). After high school he ran at the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, MI) and then competed semi-professional on the roads in distances from the mile to the marathon. As his running career started to wind down, he transitioned into long course triathlon for a few years but ultimately ended up focusing on ultra-endurance gravel cycling, cyclocross and mountain biking with running mixed in. As a coach helping runners and runners/cyclists he uses Pace Zone Index Training Zones on the run and Power Training Zones on the bike to prescribe athletes the right amount of quality and quantity training they need to stay healthy and see improvements. Eliana Lin - Eliana Lin, DPT, a former pole vaulter turned distance runner and triathlete. Witnessing numerous runners sidelined by preventable injuries, Eliana is on a mission to ensure athletes stay in the race. Having experienced the frustrations of injury firsthand, she's dedicated to transforming your running experience. At Up and Running Performance, Eliana's passion is improving runners' form and strength, helping them run faster, stronger, and injury free. Coach Gina – Run Ann Arbor’s Coach Gina has been running for over 40 years and has been providing group runs for the Ann Arbor community since 1998. She knows what is important for a long run to be successful and Coach Gina wants to provide that for other runners – water stations, a variety of marked courses, a group of runners who can run with other “like paced” runners, camaraderie, and best of all – a whole lot of fun.
